A partial day with Metro
Wednesday, October 29th, 2008Today I travelled in Delhi Metro from Dwarka Sec-9 to Rohini East and back. Had to board 3 trains however the 1 hr 45 minutes journey(one way) was a treat which I would not like to indulge in more often(my own reasons). Engineering marvel is what I had to shout it out loud in my mind when I reached and strolled through the Rajiv Chownk Station. Indeed beautiful. It has made life so easy and reduced the distances as well. At least you can now commit someone about your arrival timing with more surety. I am really impressed. On my way back a sign board attracted my attention 
Not sure what it meant to inform the passengers. Probably waiting for the painter to finish his/her job. Anyways the experience was really good.
